The Perkins Prima M60 (59 hp) is the same 1994 cc naturally-aspirated block as the M50 — Perkins's workshop manual (TPD 0192 1273) lists identical bore/stroke (84.5 x 88.9 mm) for the whole range, the M60 differing only in compression ratio (18.1:1 vs the M50's 17.0:1) and rated rpm. The engine is shared with the Perkins 500 Series industrial/agricultural engine, so internals are far cheaper through industrial channels. The parts diagrams shown here are the M50 parts catalogue (shared block, head, timing, cooling and running gear); verify the fuel-injection parts (nozzles and pump calibration) against your engine before ordering. Shared items — timing belt K614CF03, tensioner K522DF08, idler K522DF04, oil filter 2654409 — are common across the range. Also sold as the Volvo Penta MD22.
